Marco Bezzecchi extended his winning form on Sunday, clinching his fourth consecutive Grand Prix victory at the Brazilian MotoGP. Riding for Aprilia, the 27-year-old Italian dominated the race at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna in Goiânia, securing his second win of the 2026 season and moving to the top of the world championship standings.
Mastering the Field Starting from second on the grid, Bezzecchi wasted no time seized the lead early. He maintained a comfortable gap for the duration of the 23-lap race—which was shortened from 31 laps due to extreme heat and concerns over track conditions. His teammate, Jorge Martin, crossed the line in second to secure a perfect 1-2 finish for Aprilia.
Overcoming Early Struggles The victory followed a challenging start to the weekend where Bezzecchi admitted to struggling during Friday’s rain-soaked practice sessions. However, technical adjustments and a personal push “over the limit” allowed him to find the necessary pace by Sunday morning.
Emotional Milestone The win was also a personal one for Bezzecchi, who dedicated the trophy to Roberto Lunadei, a friend and mechanic who passed away in a road accident last week.
